Jeremy Goldstein benefiting from new online legal service

The New York State Bar Association has made it easier for New York citizens to receive legal assistance when they need it. No matter the criminal case. The New York State Bar Association launched an online portal as part of their Lawyer Referral and Information Service.

The service is available 24 hours a day and is completely confidential. Clients will be matched with lawyers who have been cleared by the New York State Bar Association. The new online portal was built in conjunction with Legal.io, a national provider of referral management technology geared towards the legal industry. The new service allows lawyers the ability to deliver legal services to a larger number of people at a reduced cost.

The referrals are free but if a client talks to an attorney who they were referred to, there is a $35 fee for the first half-hour consult. Exceptions will be made if the issue involves personal injury, social security, medical malpractice, vets, unemployment and worker’s compensation.
